Here Comes the Sun!  Weekends have been tough here at Absecon Bay Sportsman Center and anywhere if you are trying to fish.  Yesterday was just about a complete blow out, but the sunrise is looking good and if you can believe the weatherman the conditions should be good for fishing from the beach or jetties or in the back bays or close to the beach.  The NW wind will blow, but less than yesterday.  The ocean should be flat and the water cleaning up nicely.  Actually last week was the cleanest, clearest water I have seen in a long time and the Stripers were having an easy time finding my clients SPOT. 

My suggestion for the day is get out and give it a try.  We can only expect the weather to get worse from here on out.  If you have been keeping track of my reports, the Striper Fishing has been literally FANTASTIC for October.

 Right now we are coming into what has traditionally been the best couple weeks of the season.  The forecast is for a relatively warm week with the wind predominately out of the westerly sector.  This is perfect and I have already had reports of masses of adult bunker showing up right off the beaches. 

If work doesn't get in your way this would be a perfect week to get started for the best of Fall Striper Fishing.  The Absecon, Brigantine, Atlantic City area is already full of Stripers and it is the perfect time to get out and scout for the www.battleofthebackbay.com  Catch Video and Release Tournament.  If you haven't signed up already I suggest that you do soon.  Remember the top prize is $10,000 and the entry field is limited to thirty teams of three anglers.  We are already more than halfway full and with the influx of good sized stripers coming into the Tournament Boundary Area I know that we will fill up quickly. 

If you have already signed up we will be starting to put up practice videos very soon so keep an eye on your emails so you can show the competition what they are up against.  In any case it is time to get out on the water, I know I will be out there all next week and have very few open days with @Absecon Bay Fishing Safaris,  before the tournament on November 12th.
